Paris and Melbourne- over 16mille ('thousand') kilometers apart.

 

16mille Founder, Georgina, lives in Melbourne with her family. Her sister, Fiona has been living in Paris with her family for over 25 years. As our Head Buyer, Fiona (together with her teenage daughters) are the 'eyes on the ground', discovering exciting new designers whilst living in the stunning 7th arrondissement in Paris. Sadly, their other sister Caroline died in 2013 but it was her style, grace and stunning passion for jewellery that help Georgina and Fiona every day. They often find themselves saying... 'Wouldn't Caroline have loved this piece!' Her timeless taste in jewellery lives on with her daughers who still wear her much loved jewellery collection. 

 

It was always a dream for all three sisters to set up a business to offer the unique pieces of jewellery (that were often sent home for Christmas and birthdays from Fiona) to the Australian market. 16mille was formed in 2022.

 

16mille has selected unique pieces from jewellery designers in France. We are not a mass market. This  is why we have limited pieces available. Our stock is updated regularly, showcasing the latest trends, and timeless pieces which are being worn in Paris today. Each beautiful item is handmade in France and is of a high quality whilst still being affordable- we hope you treasure them as much as we do!
